A man firmly rooted in the small town he was raised in, had just landed after a dramatic downward spiral. His world had been rocked to the core. His faith kept him whole. His family and close connections kept him whole.

A girl raised in chaos with no firm foundation, wandered the states exploring, vivaciously living the roller-coaster of life. Traumatic lows and wondrous highs. She had faith, a-knowing she was destined for a beautiful life. Spiraling upward with more clarity, this knowing within kept her whole.

A spark of coincidence connected the two. He placed an inspirational message out into the ether world. She resonated and initiated a message. BOOM! 250 miles of Rocky Mountain distance was no match for the initial SPARK.

In moments that connection deepened. Vulnerability, Trust, Passion, Excitement, Transparency, Laughter, Humility, Playfulness, Pit of the stomach nervous adrenaline flowed between the two of them. Their love for nature, well-being, future goals for life, all ALIGNED~it was Magic! There was no doubt that a greater hand swept these two together.

Days of messaging became weeks of messaging. Nearly non-stop a stream of connection flowed. Care, concern, excitement, and love grew!

Their connection deepend.

Driving through epic Colorado snowstorms to see each other. Adventuring on the Big Island of Hawaii. Cooking unbelievably delicious, nutritious food together, all while planning out their future together. Portia embracing Nick's children whole-heartedly. Nick embracing Portia’s canine companions.

Portia lept. Nick Caught her. She moved across the mountain to be with Nick. Through world-wide uncertainty & lockdowns, Nick and Portia unlocked each other's hearts and became certain of their love for each other.

Living together~morphing two very different backgrounds and living patterns into one household, having a beautiful baby daughter together that connected the bond between the two and the house made stronger- more intentional and purposeful.

Juggling a newborn, a growing business, teenagers, animals, household maintenance, finances. None of it was easy~they persevered and never lost sight of their dreams.

Their self growth and acceptance being keys to help each other break through patterns that don’t serve them.

Through the challenges, they choose each other. The grit, the grind, the occasional rift created greater clarity and deepened the WHY of their commitment. Life isn’t easy, but it is beautiful, and the canvas is still being painted.

Portia has calmed and centered Nick.
